Are you like me? On March 1st, something flips in my brain & it says “it’s Spring”. 🌸 Outside, it’s snowing. I still need my coat & gloves. Brrr. ❄️ But I can’t help it! It’s March now, & I’m ready for green, warmth, and flowers - it’s time! 😣

Hard to believe, but tortilla chips weren’t around until the 1940’s! The triangle-shaped tortilla chip was popularized by Rebecca Webb Carranza as a way to make use of misshapen tortillas rejected from the automated tortilla manufacturing machine.
She and her husband used it to produce tortillas at their Mexican 🇲🇽 delicatessen and tortilla factory in southwest Los Angeles. Great work, Rebecca! 👏🏻❤️👏🏻
